Planned Giving

Planned Giving

Your planned gift to Nebraska Interfaith Power & Light will help people of faith in our mission to care for all of creation.

Please consider the following opportunities to make your planned gift:

Bequests & Memorials
Through your will, you can perpetuate good works with a living memorial. Nebraska Interfaith Power & Light can be a beneficiary of all or a portion of your estate. The value of your gift is deductible for federal estate tax purposes. In addition, any funeral memorials that are contributed in your memory can be directed to Interfaith Power & Light.

Real Estate
You can choose to donate the remainder interest of a personal residence to Nebraska Interfaith Power & Light while retaining a life interested in the residence by transferring the residence to a qualified personal residence trust.

Life Insurance
There are several ways to give life insurance to Nebraska Interfaith Power & Light. You can transfer the ownership of an existing life insurance policy, purchase a new contract of insurance in the name of Nebraska Interfaith Power & Light or name Nebraska Interfaith Power & Light as a beneficiary of the life insurance policy. In addition to estate tax benefits, you may also obtain a charitable income tax deduction for lifetime transfers.

We appreciate your long term vision to ensure we can help ensure the future of creation.
